I been just quried in Solutions domain about a migration or porting project from Axapta 2.5 to Axapta 4.0. It was quite strange for me to find out about limitation of Migration tools provided by Microsoft. It clearly says that you have to migrate from Axapta 2.5 to Axapta 3.0 and than Axapta 4.0 (It does n't sound good, http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa497068.aspx ). Well we are going through POC but I still feel that some one some where might have realized the same extra step pain and must have done some thing about that. I searched but no yield in given time. Even after porting I don't think that any tool could be perfect you still need to work with MorphX and X++.
